The room was spacious and beautifully designed, making for a relaxing stay. We enjoyed dinner in the garden, where the atmosphere was lovely, and the food truly impressed us with its quality. It felt like a cozy getaway, and the friendly staff added a nice touch to our experience. everything was delightful during our short escape.

Had a fab stay for our mini-moon! The rooms were lush, especially loved the bathtub. The staff were super friendly, making us feel right at home. Cozy pub area with two fireplaces, but brrr, it got a bit chilly in winter. Breakfast was decent, but could use a bit more variety.

It was just a great fit for a transient stop in Shipton under Wychwood with value for money. The lamb we had was excellent with just the right portions of everything. Make sure to try the Sunday lunch if you can.

I really loved the beautiful gardens and the warm welcome from the staff during my stay, and it was great to have such close access to Wychwood Wild Garden, just a few steps away for a lovely afternoon stroll.

We had an amazing time staying here! The food, especially the pizza and garlic bread, was delicious, and the bath in our room was a real treat. We’ll definitely be back!

The highlight was definitely the meal we had. every dish was exquisite and expertly prepared. the noise from the bar area during the evening made it a bit difficult to fully relax in our room.
